Beats, Rhythms, and Rhymes… Consists of ever-changing multi-day courses and workshops that cover the introduction of turntablism, and beat production. Concluding with building a full/partial track, and the option of recording yourself rapping/singing over it.
Friends For A_Dog understands that music education can help its participants find reasons to thrive even when they don’t always feel like they have opportunities to. Through music, we strive to build connections and spark creativity with our participants while fostering a genuine sense of community. We believe that MUSIC opens gateways to unique opportunities, and this free workshop is a way for beginners to get there or for the more advanced to sharpen their skills!
